Biography
Naji al-Jerf was a Syrian journalist and editor-in-chief of Hentah magazine, one of the few independent publications to operate inside ISIS-controlled Aleppo governorate. He was shot dead in Gaziantep, Turkey, in December 2015 after receiving multiple death threats from ISIS.
